Rockingham Centre is proud to partner with local charities and community groups that help support our community.
And we couldn’t do it without you, our customers. Your donations make the world of difference to those charities and our community that they support.
In our new regular blog post, we aim to inform our customers of our community initiatives and what we have coming up at Rockingham Centre.
The Rockingham Centre Community Wall is an easy way for our customers to give donations to a variety of charities and not-for-profit groups that provide practical support in our local community. The wall was established in 2019 and since then, with the support of our customers, we have been able to support so many local charities with your donations.
We have also been able to support
The Salvation Army
The Smith Family
South Coastal Babbingur Mia.
If you would like to nominate a charity or community group, please let us know.
We are currently collecting for the Lucy Saw Women’s Refuge. This local non-for-profit organisation provides a safe and supportive space for women escaping domestic and family violence. Donations such as women and children’s clothes and hygiene products will make a huge difference for those starting a new chapter in their lives.
Our support of this charity will continue after the Community Wall moves to its new location, next to Rockmans, near Kmart. Bring down your donations and check out the new location after August this year.

The Job and Skills Centre, located on the Rockingham campus of South Metropolitan TAFE, has extended its pop-up services until the end of the year. Keep an eye out for their team popping up again in the Food Court at the Rockingham Centre on alternate Thursdays from 2.30 PM.
Watch out for some interviews with local teens who saw the team at the pop-up shop last year and how they are going now.
2017 saw the introduction of the POP UP Kids Zone and it was an instant hit. As we move into the new financial year, we are delighted to be able to re-open this area to the community. It will be a mixed-use space for all ages, whilst also continuing to delighting our young customers.
This new space will accommodate community groups as well as being an incubation space for business growth.
Watch this space for new details to be released.
Its convenient location near the parent’s room near the Optus and Telstra stores gives parents a perfect place for a break while the kids enjoy a place that’s all about them.
Check in with us next month to see what’s coming up next at Rockingham Centre.
