The Power of Story

Every person has a story to tell. For the past three years, the Rock The Boat Film Festival has been a hub for these storytellers, bringing together both seasoned and emerging filmmakers. The festival provides a platform for people with powerful messages to share their work. Each short film screened has captured the spirit of the festival: to share stories that challenge, inspire, and connect us all.

Rockingham Centre is proud to sponsor the festival once again in 2025, to celebrate local filmmakers and emerging talent. The timeline this year is as follows:

Thursday 11 September - Opening Night
Sunday 14 September - Family Fun Day
Saturday 20 September - Mystery & Mind Games | Fright Night
Thursday 25 September - Finalists announced
Saturday 18 October - Gala Awards Night
