Team member Clive has had some big challenges thrown at him over the past couple of years, but his priority of making his customers’ day has always remained.

“I’d be calling clients to let them know that I’d secured them an alternative tour date after their original tour was cancelled, and they’d be so happy and relieved. I’d take calls from clients thanking me for making their arrangements when they’ve had a lovely holiday, which made my day too!”

Planning and rescheduling people’s holidays can be a busy job. So, Clive likes starting the day off with a hot drink from Crema Crew. “They’re just opposite us. I order a long black to help the brain tick over.”

As a travel expert, we had to ask Clive for his recommendations! “That’s a tricky one, because with travel there is such a huge, diverse range of destinations and travel styles that we cover. I would hate to single out just one! Though, my favourites though are Japan and South Africa.” But, if he had to pick a destination for his best friend, he’d definitely go with the Maldives.

Sometimes, as it happens, you don’t have to go particularly far to see some new scenery. Clive recalled a time that he got to see something new right here in the Centre! “One of the strangest moments would have to be watching the indoor waterfalls when we had the big storm two years ago.”

When he’s not busy helping others create their perfect holiday, Clive will often duck into Woolies or Coles to grab some lunch. Outside of the Centre, he loves getting outdoors. “I love going for a beach walk. We are so lucky to live beside such a great stretch of coastline.”

We sell cruises, tours (including day tours), car hire, accommodation, travel insurance and more — so we really do have you completely sorted.”
