STEAM Lab is an afterschool club where students will explore the exciting possibilities of science, technology, engineering, art and maths.This program is designed to be a fun, creative and collaborative learning environment where young people can meet others with similar interests.

Noela is a Rockingham born and bred artist, and is delighted to be hosting a solo exhibition of her work in her home town, on the street she grew up on.

Noela is a vibrant watercolourist and impasto oil artist. Both mediums will be exhibited during this exhibition.

Mohammed Massoud Morsi - writer, journalist and photographer - is a natural storyteller with compelling authenticity. The Palace of Angels, Morsi’s latest novel, is a collection of three discrete and beautifully written stories which are set in Palestine from the 1990s to the present day. Readers are lead to question how we discover who we really are, and what we wish to become.

Mohammed Massoud Morsi will deliver an inspirational talk about his journey to Australia from Egypt and what identity means to him, as well as reading his most recent book, The Palace of Angels.

As part of the City's Summer Series of free, family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free events, the City presents Wizard of Oz. Bring your picnic blanket or chair down to Churchill Park and follow us along the yellow brick road with an enchanted theatre performance in the park.

Enjoy free family entertainment from 5.30pm including roving characters, face painters and pre-show stage performances. The Wizard of Oz performance begins at 6.30pm, and following the performance there will be photo opportunities with your favourite characters.
